    Where did my columns go??

When I opened the worklist today there was all of a sudden a diffferent "view" when I opened a specific task from the list.

Alle of my columns are gone and replaced with columns from an old worklist. When I log on to "settings" --> "List settings" in the worklist, I see that all the fields are there (inkl. the fields that have replaced my old ones) but for some reason they (my originale columns) do not show when I open a task.

In the main list view or in Datasheet view where all the tasks are shown, I can see all of the columns but when I open one specific task, my columns are gone again.

What has happened? Can anyone please help me get my columns back in edit view?

I suspect that someone, might have modified content type for the list and propagate the changes. This push-down modification can override any local changes.

    To check this situation,
    1. Open the list settings, and verify if you have single or many content type.
    2. In list settings page, make sure that your column is related with the content type.
